Awesome Social Media Tool-Buffer
The other day, about a week ago or so, I discovered an awesome Social Medial tool called Buffer. There is a free version and a paid version for $10 a month or $102 a year. I used the free version for a couple of days, but I loved it so much, I bought the paid version.
So how it works is (and I’m still figuring some things out about it) you connect your social media profiles, like Facebook (profile, page or group), Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Google+ and LinkedIn. In the free version, you can only add one Facebook profile, group or page, but in the paid version, you can add as many as you have, I believe. I have 2 pages, a group and my personal profile and haven’t tried to add more, so I know you can have at least that many.
Once you connect all the profiles you can or want, then you can start scheduling posts. You can set up your schedule to post twice during each day in the free version (I believe this is accurate, if not let me know in the comments) and with the paid version, you have a lot more freedom with scheduling.
Once you set up your schedule, then you can create a post. You can manually create a post, or you can find a post from one of your websites or social media sites to “buffer”. Buffer automatically chooses all your profiles from all your social media accounts, but you can choose which ones not to include, if so desired.
There may be a little tweaking when creating your post. For instance, you may need to choose an image for sharing on Instagram, and you need to include some text for your Facebook post. But with a couple of minor steps, you can schedule nice, professional looking posts all across your social media profiles at once.
Of course not all posts have to be about your Avon business! If you install the Buffer extension to your browser, you can share all sorts of posts across all your profiles in a couple of easy steps.
Buff.ly or Buffer.com is one of my favorite social media tools to date! Give it a try and let me know what you think in the comments! Also, if you have any other tips for using it, please leave them in the comments too.
